My Story

Laura started Aceelor in August 2024 with the goal of providing managed back-office services to various clients, leveraging her multi-disciplined background. Prior to beginning Aceelor, she served as the Director of Operations & Customer Service at CPG Sales Solutions. In this role, she leverages over 15 years of experience in communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.  Concurrently, Laura worked as an educator at iSPACE STEM, serving as a mission lead for child-focused projects, seminars, and camps.

 

Laura also worked at Paycor, a Human Capital Management company, where she held various positions in sales, management, and learning & development. She is focused on customer service, account setups, and coordinating with customers, Third Party Logistics, and Demand Planning.

 

She holds a bachelor's degree in Organizational Communications from Ohio University.  Outside of her professional career Laura is a chairperson for the Christmas Village committee and volunteer for other in-classroom activities for the Saint Michael School PTO.

My Story

Chris joined his wife in October 2024 to expand Aceelor's service offerings. Prior to joining, he worked at Cassady Schiller in Cincinnati, OH for five years where he created the firm's Client Accounting and Advisory Services (CAAS) practice.  As part of this practice, Chris managed his client's accounting books, provided recurring periodic reporting regarding the financial health of his clients, and assisted with advisory requests as needed.  As part of this service, Chris served as Cassady Schiller's subject-matter expert with respect to the federal government's Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and Employee Retention Credit (ERC) programs during the COVID pandemic and subsequent years.

 

Prior to Cassady Schiller, Chris worked nearly eight years EY in Cincinnati, OH. During his earlier years with EY, Chris worked in the Global Compliance & Reporting group preparing and reviewing corporate, partnership, S-corporation, individual and state tax returns for clients ranging from large multi-national public companies to closely-held family businesses. Chris also worked closely with the Tax Technology & Transformation group implementing process improvement initiatives both internally and externally.

Chris enjoys working with clients of all sizes and a variety of industries such as restaurants/hospitality, professional services, start-ups, and consumer products.

Chris graduated from the University of Dayton with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Management Information Systems (MIS). He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA).

Chris has been trained under the Lean Six-Sigma methodologies to properly identify areas of waste and seek to improve customer value. In addition, he has provided various seminars and training surround the use of technology and common quick fixes with Microsoft’s Power Apps.
